Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Rubic ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. These Terms are between you and LetSoft Ltd, a company registered in Poland. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Rubic is a voice-to-text dictation application that:

  • Transcribes spoken audio into text using AI models running locally on your device
  • Optionally applies AI post-processing (opt-in, requires internet)
  • Optionally uses online AI transcription services (opt-in, requires internet)

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old. You agree to provide accurate account information and maintain the security of your credentials.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for:

  • Illegal activity
  • Harmful content (including CSAM, violence promotion, malware)
  • Reverse engineering
  • Circumvention of access controls
  • Misrepresentation

Violations may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

5. AI Disclaimer

Transcriptions and AI outputs may contain errors. They do not constitute professional advice. We do not use your data to train AI models without your explicit opt-in.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your audio and transcribed text. You grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the Service.

The Service software and technology are owned by LetSoft Ltd. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer them.

7. Privacy and Third-Party Services

See our Privacy Policy for full details. Key third-party providers:

  • Online Transcription (opt-in): Groq (groq.com)
  • Online Text Processing (opt-in): Together AI (together.ai)
  • Payments: Stripe
  • Infrastructure: Supabase

8. Subscription and Payments

Subscriptions auto-renew and are generally non-refundable. Cancel anytime to stop future charges.

EU/EEA Right of Withdrawal — Waiver: By subscribing and requesting immediate access to Pro features, you expressly request early performance of the Service and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal under the Consumer Rights Directive once the Service has been fully performed (i.e., upon activation of your Pro subscription).

9. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free Service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance.

10. Warranty Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT ACCURACY OF TRANSCRIPTIONS OR AI OUTPUTS.

EU consumers: mandatory statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law are not affected.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF €100 (OR EQUIVALENT IN YOUR LOCAL CURRENCY) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

EU consumers: liability for willful misconduct or gross negligence is not limited.

12. Termination

You may delete your account anytime via Settings → Account. We may terminate accounts for Terms violations or illegal activity. Upon service discontinuation, we will provide 30 days' notice.

13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Poland. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Warsaw, Poland.

EU Online Dispute Resolution: EU consumers may submit disputes to the EU ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr (our ODR contact: legal@letsoft.co)

EU/EEA consumers retain the right to bring proceedings before their local courts or consumer protection authorities.

14. Changes to Terms

Material changes will be notified at least 30 days in advance. Continued use constitutes acceptance. You may terminate before changes take effect if you disagree.
