1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Account information (email, password)
  • Payment information (processed by Stripe)
  • Support communications

1.2 Audio and Transcription Data

  • Audio recordings: Recorded and processed locally on your device by default. Audio is never sent to our servers unless you explicitly enable online processing in Settings.
  • Online processing (opt-in only): If you enable online ASR or AI post-processing, audio is transmitted to third-party providers (Groq for transcription, Together AI for text processing) and deleted from their servers immediately after processing. LetSoft Ltd does not receive or store your audio.
  • Transcriptions: Stored locally on your device. LetSoft Ltd does not have access to your transcription history.
  • Usage data: Feature usage, app version, error reports

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide Service: Account management, license verification, model delivery
  • Improve Service: Analytics, bug fixes, feature development
  • Communications: Service updates, support responses, marketing (opt-out available)
  • Security: Detect fraud, prevent abuse
  • Legal: Comply with laws, respond to legal requests

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR Art. 6)

For EU users, we process personal data on these legal bases:

  • Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)): Account management, license delivery, model downloads
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): Analytics, security, fraud prevention
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): Compliance with applicable laws
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): Marketing communications — withdraw anytime at privacy@letsoft.co

4. Data Controller

LetSoft Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through Rubic.

5. Data Sharing

5.1 Service Providers

  • Groq: Online audio transcription (opt-in only)
  • Together AI: Online text post-processing (opt-in only)
  • Stripe: Payment processing
  • Supabase: Database and authentication infrastructure

We do NOT sell your data, share it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.

6. Data Retention

  • Audio: Never stored on our servers; deleted immediately after opt-in processing
  • Transcriptions: Local device only — not accessible to LetSoft Ltd
  • Account data: 30 days after deletion, then permanently removed
  • Backups: Encrypted, up to 90 days

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectify, delete, port, or restrict processing of your data, and to object to processing or withdraw consent.

If you believe we have processed your data unlawfully, you may file a complaint with:

9. Security

We use TLS/SSL, encryption at rest, and access controls. No system is 100% secure — use a strong, unique password.

10. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed by infrastructure providers in the United States. Key providers: Supabase and Stripe (infrastructure and payments); Groq and Together AI (online transcription and text processing, opt-in only). For transfers outside the EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other lawful transfer mechanisms approved under GDPR.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

12. Changes to This Policy

Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notification at least 30 days in advance. Material changes may require re-acceptance.

13. California Users (CCPA)

California residents have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
